Mission Donation Opportunities
Missionary Kelsey Lindell would like your help.
I’m taking a different approach to starting an non-profit organization called Uphold than most people take. I’m not a teacher or principal, so I don’t know how to build a school. I’m not a doctor or a nurse, so I don’t know how to build or run a hospital or clinic. I’m not a pastor, so I don’t know how to lead a healing crusade or evangelistic efforts big enough to combat this issue. However, those forms of outreach are the only ways that this issue will be solved and I know the people who do have that knowledge and insight to do it, and I’ve begun the process of meeting more and more. While I’m not any of those things, I am a physically disabled individual myself with the passion and drive to see organizations like this come together and work as a collective group to put an end to this issue, rather than trying to tackle a corner of it on their own. By working together they can move as a unit against normal challenges in ministry, making their work more efficient and effective, and enabling them to include more children with disabilities in their programs.
