6th-9th Grade Confirmation
Our 6th-8th graders gather in small groups for Confirmation, led by the pastor and caring adults of St. Matthew's. Over the course of the program, they learn about the Bible, Lutheran Heritage, and Hot Topics of Faith. We encourage our students to "dare to be disciples", learning what it means to be an engaged member of the church and the community. Our students are confirmed on Reformation Sunday of their 9th Grade Fall.
Some of the requirements for confirmation are signing up to be worship assistants which includes acolyte. The sign up for these spots can be found on the Worship tab under worship resources. There you will find multiple worship assistant opportunities for confirmation students along with their family.
