Confirmation at St Matthews Lutheran

The confirmation program at St Matts works to meet students where they are at! We meet as a large group, then breaking into smaller groups, here our goal is to build relationships and help students explore, engage and encounter faith as they study with their peers and guide.  

Through education classes taken from 6th to 8th grade, our youth have the opportunity to learn what it means to be Lutheran, dive deeper into scripture, given opportunities to serve our neighbors and the church, and to partner with a mentor for intentional faith conversation.  Our goal is to nurture and equip the faith of our young people to go into the world and boldly live in God's grace.

​Confirmation is held from September through May for students in 6th through 8th grade.  Confirmation meets Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.

Some of the requirements for confirmation are signing up to be worship assistants.  You can sign up by click the button below.  You will find multiple worship assistant opportunities for confirmation students along with their family.  ​
